Andrew serves with inviting hospitality, welcoming both guest, members and local businesses in using the church facilities. Much of what he does takes place behind the scenes, preparing the church property for your worship or recreational pleasure.
My name is Andrew Eshbaugh, and it is my joy to serve SSBC as the Hospitality Coordinator! I was born and raised in Temple, TX, and my two younger brothers and I were raised by incredible, Christ-centered parents. I am passionate serving others in order to create opportunities for others to experience the love of Christ our Shepherd.
God has blessed me with some incredible people and experiences that developed my heart for ministry and for caring for others in the details! I graduated from Baylor University in 2020 with a joint BA/MA degree in communication. During my time at Baylor, I had the opportunity to be a member of the Baylor Men’s Choir! My go-to fun fact about myself is that I was in a viral video with the men’s choir where we performed a goofy song about coconuts on an airplane after we returned from a trip to Kenya (here’s a link to the video).
I spent every summer of college working at Pine Cove Christian Camps in Tyler, TX. The Lord used my summers working at camp to develop my heart for ministry, skill sets as a leader, and He also gave me some incredible friendships and fun memories! I spent 9 months in 2020 and 2021 in the Forge, which is Pine Cove’s leadership training and discipleship program. Here I was able to more fully understand who God made me to be and learn more about God’s heart for biblical community and hospitality.
