Hey everyone! My name is Nicole Linn and I’m super excited to be serving at South Spring as the Grade School Minister.
A little bit about me– I grew up in Wichita Falls, TX. My parents divorced when I was young, but I’m grateful that they chose to still raise me in the church. When I was 7 I came to know the Lord and was baptized shortly after. Life has not been simple by any means, but I am thankful for all the Lord has allowed in my life to form me to look like Him. After high school I moved for college to Oklahoma Baptist University. After two years at OBU, I decided to move back home so that I could intern in the high school ministry at my home church! I graduated college in 2020 from Midwestern State University with a major in sociology and minor in psychology. Post grad I moved to Fayetteville, Arkansas (WPS!) to do a residency program at a church where I worked in student ministry for a year. After finishing that program I stayed for another year and a half working in different administrative roles and with preschool and kids ministry. With a heart to be in a more relational ministry role, I moved to Fort Worth, TX to work at a church as a High School Girls Director where I was until August 2024. During my time in Fort Worth I met my now fiance, Caleb Howard, through some friends who were DETERMINED to set us up! Caleb and I dated long distance for almost a year and are now looking forward to getting married in January 2025. If you haven’t guessed yet, Caleb is how I got to Tyler and found South Spring! I am excited to serve the South Spring family in the Grade School Minister role and am looking forward to caring for our kids and families.
If you’re ever wondering what I’m doing in my free time I’m probably on a walk somewhere with a good iced coffee, hanging out with friends (my favorite!), playing card games, or at the gym! I love a good Saturday of college football and I’m always looking for fellow Razorback fans (AKA someone to be sad with on Saturdays during the fall)!!! I love getting to know people and being known by people, and these are just some of my favorite ways to connect with those around me!
