Rebekah envisions, oversees and shepherds most of the areas of ministry in the church: children through adult education, family events, and missions.
I have been involved in Full Time Ministry since 2005, after graduating from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Biblical Theology and recently completed my Masters in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During this time, I have been blessed to work with both churches and para-church organizations, kids, youth, and college. Joining the staff here has been one of my greatest blessings. I have found a great family, passionate teachers, co-workers and friends that spur me on in my faith.
As you get to know me you will find that a good cup of tea and reading is a passion. I love books from Alice in Wonderland to Henri Nouwen’s, In the Name of Jesus. If you want to talk about or suggest a book to me, please feel free. I am always looking for something new to read.
When you visit South Spring, I hope each person will feel welcomed and spurred on. I would love to meet you this coming Sunday. You can find me usually by the front doors of the main worship building. I’m the short girl with red hair!
Feel free to let me know if you have questions or if I can be looking for you too: firstname.lastname@example.org.
