Rebekah envisions, oversees and shepherds most of the areas of ministry in the church: children through adult education, family events, safety, and missions.
I have been involved in Full Time Ministry since 2005, after graduating from Ouachita Baptist University with a degree in Biblical Theology and recently completed my Masters in Christian Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During this time, I have been blessed to work with both churches and para-church organizations, kids, youth, and college. Joining the staff here has been one of my greatest blessings. I have found a great family, passionate teachers, co-workers and friends that spur me on in my faith.
As you get to know me you will find that a good cup of tea and reading is a passion. I love books from Alice in Wonderland to Henri Nouwen’s, In the Name of Jesus. If you want to talk about or suggest a book to me, please feel free. I am always looking for something new to read.
When you visit South Spring, I hope each person will feel welcomed and spurred on. I would love to meet you this coming Sunday. You can find me usually by the front doors of the main worship building. I’m the short girl with red hair!
