Life Groups

connect ~ grow ~ belong

Life Groups are about Community and give us the chance to develop friendships in our growing congregation.

Check out our Sunday Morning Life Groups and Semester Life Groups happening at different times during the week.

We cannot do what God has called us to do alone, and so He invites us to live in community as we seek to live, teach, and tell the gospel to our friends, neighbors, coworkers, and city.

But even in a moderately sized church, the numbers are daunting to really get to know one another.  Life Groups allow us to meet new people in a setting where we could actually live life together.  Remember the old “Cheers” theme song?

“Making your way in the world today takes everything you’ve got / taking a break from all your worries sure would help a lot”

Well, we agree, and though we aren’t opening a new pub or anything (yet), we do want to invite you to an opportunity to develop new friendships where you can connect, grow, and belong with believers.

Lifegroups serve a few main purposes:

  1. As an entry point into the church body. There are people who we can invite into our homes more easily than to our churches!
  2. As the main representation of the fellowship & discipleship nature of the church. The First Century church likely looked more like family small groups meeting in homes to learn, worship, and fellowship together.

Our Life Groups are flexible and incredibly varied.  Some of our Sunday morning Life Groups are typically consistent across time and are often age or life-stage related.  Others are semester based and designed by the teacher and topic.

Life Groups that meet at times and locations other than Sunday mornings run in 3 annual semesters:  Spring, Summer & Fall.

Whether you are new to the faith or new to the church, we welcome you to join us in living life together… disciples making disciples.
