Children & Teen Ministry Guidlines

As a Volunteer, I have read and understand the “So loved…” guidelines. I agree to submit to any background check, investigation, or inquiry into my record, criminal or otherwise, at any time(s) for any reason or no reason at all. I agree to provide references upon request. I agree that South Spring Baptist Church Tyler and its agents can use any information about me for any purpose(s) that it sees fit. I agree and recognize that SSBC Tyler reserves the right to revoke my ability to serve in the Children or Teen Ministry with or without notice at any time for any reason or for no reason at all. I agree to never engage in any behavior, take any action(s), and/or fail to act in such a way as to harm a child or subject him or her to any danger, whatsoever.

I am fully aware of the privileges and responsibilities provided by these guidelines, and I agree to abide by it as long as I am a part of the Children and Teen Ministry department. I am also aware that these guidelines may change from time to time as necessary, it is my responsibility to be aware of any changes to these guidelines, and those changes may be reflected in the nature of my responsibilities and privileges.

I acknowledge and understand that the materials contained in these guidelines in no way express or imply a contractual employment relationship between me and the church and/or any of its agents. As a volunteer, I acknowledge and agree that I will receive no monetary compensation for hours worked.
