Alicia Frick recently celebrated 30 wonderful years of marriage to her best friend, Ricky. Together, they are the proud parents of three children—Kenneth (38), Lauren (27), and Carson (25).Alicia serves as the Children’s Ministry Director and Women’s Bible Study Teacher at First Baptist Irving, where she and her husband have been members for over 25 years. She is passionate about discipling women and the next generation to know Christ and grow in His likeness.
When she’s not serving at church, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family, reading a good book, traveling, and camping. Her heart’s desire is to see women deepen their love for God and walk faithfully with Him in every season of life.

Who is able to attend Women’s Weekend?
Our goal is that every woman who attends South Spring will join us! We are excited to grow in relationships with the women at South Spring through worship, teaching and fellowship. Any woman from the community is welcome to join. Women’s Weekend is most suitable for ages 18+. We will have golf carts available for anyone needing physical assistance.
May I bring my baby?
The Family Room offers a private area for nursing moms with a live feed. Also, babies are welcome to nurse and make noise in the Great Room or workshops as well!
I’m having trouble registering!
Common problems include:

- Trying to select “submit” without selecting the $60 registration or shirt size.
- Mis-entering credit card information:
- Tip: If you try to use the photo feature to enter your credit card number, the form will not enter the expiration date, security code or zip code correctly. You must manually enter those numbers.
Additional Tips:
- Completing the form on a computer is easier than your phone.
- The “submit” button is located at the top right of your screen when using a mobile device. You will get an email confirming registration. If you don’t receive this, please make sure you have pressed the “submit” button to complete registration.

Is there a price adjustment if I can only attend part of the weekend?
Registration price includes paying the speaker, activities, long sleeve shirt, meals, snacks and drinks. However, we want you to attend when you can, and you are free to come-and-go! If you need a lower price in order to be able to attend, please email ldungo@southspring.org.
What is the schedule for the weekend?
We will be posting a more detailed schedule on this page and on our facebook group soon!
Doors open on Friday at 5 p.m. We’ll have charcuterie style heavy appetizers and treats available.
Session 1 will begin at 6 p.m. and we’ll dismiss for homes at 9:30 p.m.
Doors open on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. We’ll have coffee and drinks available.
Session 2 will begin at 9 a.m.
Lunch will be served around noon and snacks will be provided throughout the day.
We’ll dismiss at 5:00 p.m.
What should I bring?
You may choose to bring a Bible, pen, notebook and water bottle. We will have drinks and snacks available at all times. More info to come on workshops, but know you can dress comfortably!
Tell me more about staying in a host home.
Attendees have the option to stay in a host home on Friday night with friends or potluck-style. Generous women of South Spring have offered their beautiful, relaxing homes for women to enjoy. You will receive a home assignment with your own bed. To add to the fun, each host home will have a fun Party in a Bag to pamper you!
