Hi! My name is Avery Weinzapfel and I am originally from the Dallas area! I am one of six girls, played soccer and basketball growing up, was homeschooled, and then did College online through Liberty University while I lived and worked in Fort Worth!
Through college I had the privilege of working for Pine Cove summer camps in Tyler and then after I graduated college I was accepted into Pine Cove’s Leadership and Discipleship program called the Forge! It truly transformed my life and in that time of a lot of change the Lord opened a door for me to apply to work at South Spring. After graduating from college and from the Forge I worked my last summer at Pine Cove on summer staff and then started in my role at South Spring in August of 2025!
I am the student ministry coordinator and love getting to be part of the team with Daniel and Mary Lee – I am excited to get to be a part of the 6th-12th graders and help make sure the behind the scene things get done so that our leaders and Daniel and Mary Lee are set up for success each week!! I am truly reminded every week of what a blessing it is to work here and I love it so much!! In my free time I love being active and going on walks or evening runs, a good coffee shop and being in the sun!
