Hello! My name is Kendall and I serve as Executive Assistant to the Lead Pastor here at South Spring. I have been on staff since August of 2023 and as part of my role I get the opportunity to empower Chris in his various roles as well as plan staff care events and help with various administrative tasks around church.
I graduated from Baylor University (sic ‘em bears!), where I studied Communication and Religion. I worked at Pine Cove City every summer in college, and that’s where I met my husband, Tyler! 
We both did Pine Cove’s leadership and discipleship program, the Forge, in 2020 and the Lord really used that time to grow us both in big ways. Afterwards, we moved to Houston and both started working at the same church- Tyler as a Student Minister and me as the Administrative Assistant to the Worship Arts Team. We got married in 2022, and the following year the Lord did another work in our lives and called us back to Tyler, Texas where my husband is now the Men’s Director of the Forge! We absolutely love getting to be back in a place that was so pivotal for us and being a part of a church that we are so passionate about. We both feel extremely blessed to be working for two ministries that are near and dear to our hearts!
In my free time, I enjoy reading, hosting friends at my house, trying new coffee shops, listening to music (big Swiftie over here!), playing card games, watching movies and really any form of fellowship. I also love singing and feel so honored anytime I get to lead worship!
