My wife Melisa & I have been attending church here for about five years now and actually joined right about the time we became South Spring. In my time here, I’ve had the privilege of being a member of the committee that updated the Master Plan for the church campus & that evolved into serving on the Building Committee for the new Education Building. One of the most fulfilling things I’ve done since joining South Spring is go on the 2017 Israel trip with Chris, Deborah & a host of great people.
While a little light on actual South Spring leadership experience, I’ve done a good bit of work on ministry boards in the community. I’m serving my second stint as both a board member & Board Chairman for Encouragement Media Group (Christian radio stations KVNE, KGLY & the recently launched Spanish language Christian Stations in East Texas). I’ve also served two terms as Chairman of the board for the Mentoring Alliance and was on the Steering Committee & Fundraising Committee for CityFest last year.
Melisa and I have been married for 33 years and have two grown kids, Courtney and Brandon who both live in Fort Worth.
